We are thrilled to announce that registrations are officially open for the VTA Doubles September 2026 tournament, taking place on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 September 2026 at Rosamond Tennis Club, Maribyrnong.
This year's tournament features six competitive divisions — Men's A, Men's B, Women's Open, Mixed A, Mixed B, and Junior Open — catering to players of all levels across the Vietnamese-Australian tennis community.
The entry fee is AUD $50 per player, which covers both days of competition, access to all facilities, and a player pack. Spots are limited and divisions are expected to fill quickly, so we encourage all interested players to register as soon as possible.
To register, visit our Registration page and complete the four-step form. You will need your VTA rating, emergency contact details, and payment via card. Confirmation will be sent to your email upon successful registration.
We are proud to confirm Rosamond Tennis Club in Maribyrnong as the official venue for VTA Doubles September 2026. The club is one of Melbourne's premier tennis facilities and provides the ideal setting for our growing tournament.
The venue features four tournament-grade synthetic grass courts, all equipped with LED floodlights for evening play. A modern clubhouse with change rooms, showers, and a café will be available throughout both days of competition.
Rosamond Tennis Club is conveniently located on Rosamond Road, Maribyrnong VIC 3032, with free on-site parking and easy access via the 82 tram from the CBD. The Maribyrnong River Trail also connects directly to the club for those arriving by bike.
We look forward to welcoming players, families, and supporters to this fantastic venue in September. Visit our Venue page for full details including directions, facilities, and a map.
The VTA Doubles September 2026 will follow a three-stage competition format designed to maximise court time for every participating pair and deliver an exciting spectacle for supporters.
Stage one is the Round Robin group stage, where all registered pairs compete in their division groups. Every pair is guaranteed a minimum of three matches, ensuring great value and plenty of competitive tennis regardless of the final standings.
Stage two sees the top pairs from each group advance to the Quarter-Finals, where the competition intensifies and the path to the podium becomes clear. Stage three is the Finals — Semi-Finals and the Grand Final — where the division champions are crowned.
All matches will be played as best-of-three sets with a match tiebreak in lieu of a third set. Full rules and scoring details are available on the Tournament page.

VTA Doubles September 2026 is proud to include a dedicated Junior Open division, welcoming young players aged 18 and under to compete alongside the senior divisions in a supportive and encouraging environment.
The Junior Open division is open to all junior players regardless of gender, competing as doubles pairs. It is a fantastic opportunity for young Vietnamese-Australian tennis players to experience competitive tournament play and connect with the broader community.
Junior players will follow the same three-stage format as senior divisions, with matches scheduled to ensure they can watch and be inspired by the senior competition throughout the day.
Parents and guardians are welcome to attend and cheer from the spectator areas. We look forward to seeing the next generation of VTA players take to the courts in September.
